Health Editorials

I started writing my first health editorial after being invited by Trading Pages to provide them with a health bulletin for each of their new look glossy issues.
This relationship started in November 2005.
Trading Pages wanted their classy new local publication to be full of interesting articles; written by local people for local people.

I saw this as a great opportunity to reach a wider audience to inform them about practical use of natural medicine, lifestyle choices & diet to reach optimum health.
It is also a great shop window for my natural health practice, where my colleagues & I pracice 100% natural medicine, & specialise in bodywork treatments.

I believe we are the only natural health practice in our area who has made it our practising philosophy to use only 100% natural products in our practice.
We are a paraben free zone & proud of it!

So was born "The Little Medicine Chest" (same initials as The Little Massage Clinic).

My aim is to make the articles interesting, using achievable goals to help individuals improve their health through good diet, lifestyle choices & the use of natural medicine where appropriate.

By Christmas 2005, I offerred my services to our local rag The Porthtowan Post.
The Post now features a monthly health article, "TLC  in a Column".....to relfect our warm approach with our clients, & it's  a play on my natural range of hand-made health & beauty products: TLC  in a Bottle.

I draw inspiration from the resources our village & wider community have  on offer to improve our health, whether that be the provision of local 
fresh fruit n veg available in our local store, or the yoga & Thai kickboxing available at our village hall.

Finally, earlier in the year, Rosie at the West Briton asked me if I had any editorial material I could offer them, & in exchange gain more publicity for our clinic & my products.
Since
then, my articles feature regularly in the Health & Beauty sections of the West Briton & Cornishman.

Enjoy......these are less formal health info pages which are now published & regularly updated here on the website. My personal favourite is the Summer Beauty piece.

Please note these are the articles as I provide them to the editors of each publication, so they may change by the time they reach print. Although I do make adjustments to each article to take into account what resources are available within the communities the publications are aimed at.
