The words on these pages have the numbering roots either in numbers or come from origins with numbers in their etymology or meaning. It is our hope that this last chapter helps you see how simple it is to talk about things in our language. In fact, it is easier than you think. Just list your topic, state a number, and bang! You’ve spoken.
Numbers have a unique way of speaking to us. On one hand, they can indicate how long something is. For instance, “A man with a watch” means “ago.” But they can also indicate how big something is. And when they appear next to something else, they can give us clues about its size or shape or configuration.
It’s no accident that clocks and calendars are called “books” or “aques.” They are great talking tools because people use them all the time to tell time. In fact, there is such a thing as the international standard for measuring time that it actually uses forty-five digits in the International Atomic Time Code. Talking numbers don’t have to be only for clocks and calendars. They can appear anywhere you can speak in English. Take, for example, the numbers carved into the stone of every memorial and gravestone. Even if you don’t speak English, you can read these numbers to yourself or, if you are in an English-speaking country, to other people who may be reading these numbers.
And just because numbers aren’t always spoken doesn’t mean they aren’t important. For example, every death records in the United States has ten digits after the name. That’s the number of the deceased. But ten digits doesn’t even begin to describe what each person meant to that family. A lot of people who are very close to a person or who have known the deceased for a long time will read these numbers to try to understand what this person meant to them or to try to remember things about their loved one that was significant.
Talking numbers are as valuable as real numbers are. They do not have to be spoken, but they do have to be written down somewhere. Because of this, it is good practice to write down these numbers every once in a while to make sure you’re hearing them correctly. This is not only to prevent from losing your sense of what numbers are supposed to sound like, but also to make sure you’re not mispronouncing words that aren’t exactly the same as the original source word. That can cause big mistakes, which is why it’s so important to be familiar with words and their meanings.

When we are in love, they say words dreams. Dreams are thoughts that eventually become reality. So while our subconscious can’t really tell us how numbers will play themselves out in our lives, we can still use them to our advantage. When we talk about them using talking numbers, we are giving ourselves the power to control how those numbers will ultimately work out in our lives.
It can be so much fun to figure out the unknown probabilities that our lives hold. The possibilities are endless, all we have to do is take a few minutes to think about them and we’ll see how they can enrich our lives. Just by talking to ourselves about them, we can learn new things. It’s actually quite amazing how much we change by just thinking about something for a few minutes. This is also how we learn to live more effectively.
When we are talking about numbers, it helps to talk about more than just our ordinary seven, five, four and three numbers. We need to ask questions like, “what if x is less than y? “, or “is x bigger than you?” By asking these kinds of interesting questions, we are allowing our minds to dig into the unknown. Instead of simply memorizing the normal combinations, we are now trying to unlock the code to make them work.
While it may be entirely possible to do everything in this world using numbers, it’s only a matter of how much effort you’re willing to put into learning more about numbers. In the end, we all have the same amount of power, if we put the same effort into it. If we only use our brains to crack the code of natural occurrences, life would be pretty boring as it is. Therefore, if you want to live a real life filled with excitement and success, start talking about real numbers and how they can influence your life.
